The surface of the quilt features 14 colors of lustrous rayon yarn are painstakingly woven into 8 multi-branched, intertwining vertical vines extending from the top to the bottom, creating a complex, breathtaking symmetry of shape and color. There are hundreds of single-colored embroidered buds and multi-colored leaves and flowers (4 styles of leaf embroidery, 6 bud designs and 8 floral patterns). Embroidery patterns range in size from a 1/5" inch bud to 4 inch flowers. The background is white cotton with white quilt stitches to create texture and enhance durability.
